If that happens, all those buildings with their spent fuel pools would come tumbling down, the spent nuclear fuel would go critical and it would be all over when more than 300 tons of nuclear fuel go up in smoke all at once.

The corium molten nuclear fuel that have breached the containment long ago now have no problem moving in the soft earth and is going even further down into earth giving humanity no chance at stopping the contamination of the Pacific Ocean.

One year after Fukushima Audio Collection

Today a year has past since the Fukushima disaster, and in that time the earthquake activity in the area have gone up some 24 times from the recorded average in the area. 231 earthquakes above M4 have hit since the devastating earthquake with numerous M5 quakes recently centering in around Fukushima. Some of us look at the recent solar activity and solar storms and see a direct connection.

This don’t sound good for us that continually follow the ongoing Fukushima nuclear disaster. With real experts doing all they can to try and educate the masses and bring attention to the severity of this disaster as we get headlines like..

“If Unit 4 gets a crack from quakes and leaks, it would be the end for Tokyo.” 

While I’m at it, describing to you how much earthquake activity has gone up (24 times). It will surprise some of you, probably living in caves somewhere.. That a few weeks ago the radiation levels reported in Tokyo, many parts of it, has in fact radioactive levels 25 times higher than the mandatory evacuation zones around Chernobyl!! 

There is really a treat here. Still people don’t really care about. They do go on that everything is fine, like it’s already over. They draw parallels to Chernobyl and say, “look at that place, people still live there and are doing just fine..” It’s nothing new that TEPCO and the Japanese government have been less than forthcoming since the beginning of this disaster, lies upon lies.. Some don’t question but the Japanese people are getting more and more angry, and they know they are being told lies and half truths. The Japanese people are more and more opening their eyes and start to see TEPCO the clown with the curly hair and painted face denying everything saying it’s a “wardrobe malfunction”.

In 1986 some magazines and pro-nuclear articles went out and said nuclear power is as safe as a chocolate factory, a few weeks later Chernobyl blew up. 25 years later, the movement and “educated” thinking among experts and the schooled children growing up after started to go back to normal. Normal being that nuclear power is cheap and safe, however this time the disaster was the greatest nuclear disaster in the history of the world, and it’s still going. Anyone who have the guts to look at a Chernobyl documentary and see how that nuclear disaster have affected the children would never say something like it’s safe and fine. It’s not fine, Fukushima is not fine, it’s not over, it’s ongoing.

Children in Fukushima stopped growing last year, it’s widely known and reported on by doctors in the area, children should not do that if there was nothing very wrong.

My travel agent in Hong Kong told me that a lot of people gone over, only to Osaka to southern part of ??? Island and one lady went over there. She was very careful about the diet and all that but you know enjoyed Japanese food, she came back, she’s about 26 years old, office worker.

She came back, this is what my travel agent told me. She wasn’t felling very good, stomach wasn’t felling too good, her head was woozy, went to the doctor and the doctor told her, you can’t have a baby for the next 3 years.. That was his diagnosis.

Yoichi Shimatsu: Japanese government inviting people over there where they’re eating the food, drinking the water, breathing the air and they are coming down with conditions where women can not have babies for many years...

Michael Collins: Why thank you JR, I am pleased to be back and last week we did talk about some of these testing that we have been doing and here in Los Angeles we spoke about how the test that we have of the air here have not been impacted by Radon, that Radon progeny is not an issue here and we found very high amounts of Alpha and Beta radiation in the two test that you just posted. 

Jeff Rense: They will be up in a couple of minutes, right.

Michael Collins: That’s right, and our theory we where talking about well if the rain isn’t bringing it here to southern California because of the 42 day period that we used those two HEPA filters a Westing house and Kenmore Plasma Wave. There was no rain and yet we got 538 percent above normal in the dust itself. The dust’s hot you can see it yourself folks it’s like.

Jeff Rense: OK 538, that means 5 times over normal or 4 times above normal a total of 5 anyway OK.

Jeff Rense: And we are back, “it’s a hot time in the old town tonight” probably a song that the Japanese don’t know but it would certainly serve their purposes and many of these cities on the main Island of Honshu, because radioactivity, radio nuclides are spreading all over nonstop. 70 Million Bequarels An Hour being released from the wrecked destroyed Fukushima plant. 

Reactor building 4 leaning it’s traditional 15 degrees and starting to look more like the leaning tower of Pisa all the time. The Japanese are doing nothing to try and prop that building up, nothing substantial, they cant get near it. 

The activity being generated by the spent fuel pool and of course the ruined reactor which was NOT as TEPCO told us empty. And being refueled, it was full, it was triggered in fact to start back online the very morning of 03-11. They had to stop it because there was a broken pipe, just then the earthquake hit and all hell broke lose. And it is hell on earth.

Meanwhile reactor 2 has continually seen it’s temperatures go up, it went up 5 degrees.. 3 degrees? 3 degrees Celsius in 5 hours yesterday, it is very hot and getting hotter and they the authorities don’t know what’s causing it. Let me tell you though that reactor building 4 with it’s destroyed spent fuel pool the SFP, 3 stories, 4 stories up in the air. When that comes crashing down it is full of destroyed fuel rods, these fuel roods of course some are brand new, some are used. The used rods pose more of an danger than the new ones, so when the SFP at reactor building 4 hits the ground it will go critical immediately. It will literally turn into a nuclear pier of death, it will spew unbelievable amounts of Plutonium and everything that you can, probably 100s of different Radioisotopes will be thrown into the air. Into the ocean and according to one worker at the plant within one year that building is coming down, no more than that.

Because the neutron activity is literally destroying the structural integrity of the building. It’s weakening everything, it’s degrading it, it will fall. And when it does, he said the entire east coast of Japan that’s facing us and the west coast of the United States will become uninhabitable. 

How will it become uninhabitable? It will become uninhabitable because of all along the shoreline the wave action creates vapor, aerosolized droplets of nuclear death. That also of course brings the issue of evaporation which turns into clouds, which moves in storm systems across the ocean and on to the land depositing it’s deadly cargo there. So when building 4 goes down, and that spent fuel pool goes critical, folks you better start wearing masks all the time and you still got time to get covers for your gardens or you wont be the one to garden out there…

Yoichi Shimatsu: Hello Jeff, hear you had some problem with people ?? on your reporting on Fukushima which mystifies me because it’s one of the most consistent and full coverage out there with a very wide diverse range of opinion so, don’t know what they are complaining about. But I’m afraid it wont have any basis really in anything factual.

Jeff Rense: No it really doesn’t and we have mentioned virtually every scenario I can go back to Benjamin Fullford appearance on the program here, and what Ben proposed was that two nuclear warheads from the submarine Kursk.. The submarine Kursk? Yes, under the nose of the Russian navy where stolen and brought to Japan and dropped down the bore hole pipe 10 inches in diameter of a drilling ship off Fukushima. That’s one. Another person suggested the US navy went there with a submarine and dropped down a couple of nukes in the trench and lit them off. Another person suggest it was the Israeli who went over in one of their German Diesel Electric Submarines and lit off a nuke down there to get even with Japan for some fantasized crime or other. Look folks, Japan is the known earthquake capital of the known universe, OK. Earthquakes happen all the time. Anyway Yoichi, yeah a very small number of people like a handful or less decided to make a big issue of this and rather than approach it journalistically it has been done in such a way as to clearly be liableness and character deformation of the most ugly variety but that’s the way of the internet and you know we do our best.

Jeff Rense: Alright lets go to Hong Kong and see if our friend and colleague Yoichi Shimatsu is there, are you there? Hello Yoichi are you there? I’m not hearing him yet, ok one more time, do we have.. I’m trying to get a read on the connection, do we have a connection there, are you there Yoichi? Ok lets try and call him back.

Now I have put up a story, oh I guess two days ago, that was written by Yoichi for the site and it’s quite good. It’s to do with the Pacific Ocean and a dead blue whale. In Japan harbor, now before I get to that let me just repeat this one thing. If any of you folks are eating fish caught in the Pacific Ocean, don’t do it anymore. Because that’s over, I think we got Yoichi on the line now I hear noise. Are you there Yoichi?

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah we are back online, got cut off there for a second in Hong Kong.

Jeff Rense: Alright, now the idea, lets talk first about fish, and the Japan fisheries. 65% of the fish is showing Cesium now, this is a catastrophe, this is really the end of the Japan fishing industry. Now that’s, of course the authorities are saying over here, well if it’s in the Western Pacific probably not a good idea, but don’t worry about fish caught over in the Eastern Pacific. You want to tell them what’s wrong with that stupid statement?

Yoichi Shimatsu: Well the problem is that we are not just talking about bottom dwellers the currents drift over, in of shore Japan this is where a lot of plankton is spawned. So therefore this is the main feed stock and also this is where young squid, fish are all borne so basically we are seeing this is the stuff that salmon, Pacific salmon feed on, major fish for Northern Pacific. All the sea mammals, you know everything that.. Halibut, you name the fish. Everything that we have in our diet is basically feeding in this food chain that begins with plankton which is very radioactive right now and increasingly so. The dumping is not stopping, radioactive water is going into the Pacific and they are only reporting once a month, but we know it’s more than that so. And then this fallout from the lower atmosphere when it rains, crossing across the Pacific. So there is fallout all across the Pacific feeding into the fish stock, so the bad situation is that fish is good for you, Omega-3 is in all that but you know a lot of radioactive particles are oil-soluble and so it’s right in there. The oceans are contaminated and now so is our diet.

Jeff Rense: The Japan fishing industry is pretty well shut, I don’t see how anybody can eat anything over there anymore frankly.

Yoichi Shimatsu: They are trying to go more towards the South Pacific, they are trying to move away go further and further deeper out and so. But I think that strategy is finite because you know Tuna eventually are going to consume highly mobile fish they are eventually going to consume other fish which are part of that same food chain. They move around the Pacific a lot, we saw the state of this Blue Whale surfacing that eats krill that’s from the.. The Blue Whale travel all over the Pacific you know eating krill and..

Jeff Rense: Tell it now, I have a story up that you wrote about the dead Blue Whale in Tokyo Bay. Tell us how that in all likelihood happened.

Yoichi Shimatsu: It’s very odd that what happened, Blue Whales are not like short hugging whales they are not like Gray Whales, so it’s very odd to find something like that inside Tokyo Bay, which is a heavily polluted area and you would not expect a Blue to be there. But basically, obviously this whale that they said was entangled by the propellers of a ship so that is pretty strange. Blue Whales inhabit waters 100 meters down, they’ll come up to breath, they have very good sonar systems and all that, so they are not going to ram into a ship propeller..

Jeff Rense: That’s ridiculous..

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah it’s ridiculous, the stories they come up with, obviously this was a whale that had consumed a lot of toxic, you know radioactive and chemical toxic krill and plankton in depths of a 100 meters probably off, probably higher up further north somewhere between Bering Strait, Hokkaido. Probably in the Pacific trench area which we know is highly contaminated, a lot of radiation was concentrated in the Pacific trench you know because the heavier particles will flow down this continental shelf, the shelf of Japan into the trench and it’s so hot that I talked to you earlier about you know, luminous clouds forming over the trench. This is exactly where the whale would be feeding on plankton and so and when the northern Liman or Oyashio current as it’s called comes down with nutrition rich water it meats the Korushio the warm tropical water and these collision spin of huge eddies of water, these gigantic cyclonic motions that move north worth tearing the krill and plankton up and this is probably what the whale was feeding on. As soon as it gets thick, you know it’s very cold up there so it need these huge amounts of krill just to stay warm and to keep moving it’s a warm blooded animal. And just like you and I if we don’t get enough carbohydrates in our system or oil in our system we are going to run out of energy and get tired very soon. So it’s going to have breathing problems, muscle problems, stomach problems all kinds you know. Both voluntary, involuntary muscles, so it’s got to come up and head for warmer waters. It’s basically getting poisoned very slowly, it’s respiratory systems are starting to fail, it’s got to move south to warmer waters and generally I think what whales, sea mammals will do when they are a little bit sick, they’ll search out a lagoon. They’re brackish waters where it’s warmer, warmer water, they are little safer from predators and so on and they can get a little bit of rest. So they are coming down the coast of Japan looking for rest and boom January first there is an earthquake of Izu Islands and what will the whale do, he’ll head inland, he’ll head towards land, he’s going to get away from this possibly because there are live volcanoes out there in Izu Islands, he’s going to head away from that and he’s going to go into Tokyo Bay and there Tokyo Bay have all these incinerator ash you know millions of…

Jeff Rense: Countless tons yeah.

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yes, leaching into the waters of the bay, anyone that gets near that bay like that Fujishige announcer is getting sick and so the whale is going to get knocked out. And timing is just about right you know. About 9 – 10 days after this event, this earthquake that rattled the Fukushima plant he hid inside Tokyo Bay instead..

Jeff Rense: I have a question, are the Japan “experts”. Is the Japanese government completely insane? Are they completely out of their minds? Dumping 100.000s tons of this burnt radioactive ash that is highly, highly deadly into Tokyo Bay. What the hell is wrong with these people?

Yoichi Shimatsu: Well what it is, is that this is like standard procedures. Tokyo Bay is been getting staidly smaller for the last 200 years. You know most about a third of Tokyo is built on landfill...

Jeff Rense: I understand..

Yoichi Shimatsu: So therefore this is just standard operation procedures, they just dump the..

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah but these are bureaucrats they have these sort of you know government approval to dump there so it will take them forever to change the rules, so they just do what they normally do. This is just, you know this walking in lockstep right over the edge.

Jeff Rense: They are, right over the edge, now lets we have not even talked about the complete madness of burning all of these, 100s of 1000s of tons radioactive burnable debris, including dirt by the way. They are burning even soil in these incinerators, this is just madness..

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah, you know now the. Yeah I mean this is total madness, now the latest events that started, I mean I have said before this Fukushima event is in the Pandora’s Box of science, strange weird science. All of it can be explained you know, it’s based on scientific principles and we got a very, very strange event in the same timeframe that goes back to the most recent radioactive releases from Fukushima, which haven’t been reported officially by TEPCO or the government. And that is a reading on the morning of the 13th, January 13th in the Southwest coast of Australia. Of an 8th fold increase in radiation levels to 0.8 millisieverts. This is the normal levels are 0.1 millisieverts it skyrocketed up to 8 points on the night of the swell. And this is really an anomaly because Australia is on the other side of the planet. It’s on the Southern Hemisphere you know, down under and there is an Equator in between and as you know, because of the earths rotation dust is moving from the West to the East it’s just you know it’s going from Japan to North America and it takes a while to get down to Australia. Took about a month after the, more like 6 weeks after the fist Fukushima blasts before some radiation would show up in Australia, a very tiny amount because of the dispersal in the air and it will be a very slow build up and then a gradual decline. But a sudden spike is nearly inexplicable except for one factor which you know I have, I have done a lot of research in this in the past in 1995 the ? ? ? was down in Kalgoorlie which is in Western Australia near Perth, where they were conducting experiments in ground currents and ground electricity. Ground charge, and they where observing atmospheric events on the ?Gindely? test range. And this is where the, I think people have heard of the HAARP system before, High Altitude Auroral Research Project..

Jeff Rense: Oh you bet this audience is well familiar with it, yes, yes.

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah, well basically the other end of HAARP is Australia, this is where, I was sent photos back in 1995 by credible people, we are talking about certified geologists and other scientists, of incredible light phenomena in the sky. Some of them looking like straight lines of light, like lightning coming straight down but staying in the sky. Others, there was one of a Cross in the sky, all these light events. And then there was a blast also of a Nuclear Sized Blast inside of a gold mine which was inexplicable they taught it was hit by a Nuclear Bomb. In fact it was caused by an Electromagnetic pulse, OK. So this has to do with the whole HAARP system which have been going for quite a while, and basically what we are seeing is…

I remember last time on the show they were talking about how could 2012 become any worse than 2011. Well it turns out that the first day, 1 January 2012 we got the answer. The Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant is in serious trouble.

Jeff Rense is here with Yoichi Shimatsu again and this time.. It sounds bad, I mean really bad. I’m talking about military taking over at the Fukushima plant and pulling out workers because the recent earthquakes. The Fukushima plant is now evacuated and in emergency state. There is movement still at the plant, but the earthquakes have cracked the fuel pool above reactor 4 and drained all water. Plutonium have been released and even been detected by Michael Collins in the US 30 000 feet up in the Jet Stream, radiation is traveling all over the Northern Hemisphere.

Jeff Rense: OK and welcome back, lets go over to Hong Kong and talk to Yoichi Shimatsu our colleague and the man who has contributed so much to our understanding of the catastrophe that now envelopes the entire Northern Hemisphere. Again the story out today, it’s actually been out for a while but recapitulated nicely by greenmedinfo.com. Plutonium from Fukushima made it all around the planet, we know that now. We just heard Michael Collins describing what his readings where, flying an aircraft back to Michigan from California at 20 – 30 000 feet. Extraordinary levels being measured on the incoming air from outside which would suggest the obvious that there is a lot of radio nuclide activity, Isotopes if you will, in the Jet stream at higher elevations which are slow to settle down, but they have circled as Yoichi said they would the Northern Hemisphere and things are not getting any better. Hello my friend and welcome back.

Yoichi Shimatsu: Hello Jeff I like to wish you a happy new year but unfortunately this year I mean the very early hours of the first .. year, at the .. of new years day, right as it began we see another major new event at Fukushima.

Jeff Rense: Yeah

Yoichi Shimatsu: The plant in the last week, the plant have been evacuated, there is a massive emergency going on, many of the Fukushima plant workers not only been pulled out of the plant but out of the whole environment there, from out of Fukushima province entirely. A lot of people contaminated with Plutonium, a major event of military helicopters streaming in and 100s if not 1000s of Police officers moving up there very quietly at night time. 

Jeff Rense: What’s… OK.. They are blocking off the entire plant with hundreds or maybe 1000s of..

Yoichi Shimatsu: .. Evacuated workers are being pulled out of there...

Jeff Rense: Now are we confirmed on this Yoichi? 

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah, pretty much we got witnesses in towns all over, radiation levels are up, the Plutonium they just saw probably came from this recent event. What happened is that 2:30 in the morning, major earthquake occurred in the Izu Islands, they are part, they are right of Tokyo, in fact they are part of Tokyo prefecture, Hachijo-jima a very deep earthquake. And this fault line in fact directly is part of the central axis fault line that goes right up the middle of Japan north worth. As I described earlier it looks like you know we are in for some geological changes, there is a major Volcanic explosion expected by the meteorological agency. The quake thought, did not damage buildings, it did apparently crack the cooling tank above reactor 4, the MOX reactor, there is no water up there in the pool the cooling pool. And apparently a lot of the spent fuel rods where .. around, knocked over causing meltdown, Plutonium released and the evacuation of the plant. And now it is all on emergency. Now this have all gotten by for two reasons. Obviously the government have imposed national security regulation so that the media is not reporting. And the other thing is that you know the Japanese official holidays for new years is very long, it’s the most important holiday of the year so it’s usually 6 days but because of the weekend it went into 8 days so basically we are just coming out of the new years holiday and you know in Japan people don’t go out and drink and all that, they stay at home very quietly. So right now the full dimensions of this, are yet to really come out to the public. But we are picking up you know this incredible mobilization in the early part of the new years week which was .. drove by some of the residents along the highways .. down.

Jeff Rense: Yeah alright this is very..

Yoichi Shimatsu: There is a national holiday, there was suppose to be a cold shutdown as TEPCO and the nuclear industry had promised and so this was just an emergency that could not have gone unnoticed. So therefore we are seeing something occurring here and you just mentioned I heard Mr. Collins had picked up some Plutonium in the atmosphere, probably as an result of this.. Levels are spiking.. 

Jeff Rense: According to one of the reports, a major pipe to the SFP (Spent Fuel Pool) in reactor 4 broke, all the water came out of the tank. The tank was seen to be actually what they call boiling without water, that means it had gone critical again.. That’s right, the spent fuel pool was and is melting down. So they actually pulled the workers out of there, because of this they’d be dead obviously immediately, they would not have any suckers to run.. 

Yoichi Shimatsu: Well obviously some of them have evacuated completely out of the whole area so they must have been contaminated, this must have taken them by surprise, again the quake was at 2:30 in the morning on the 1 Jan 2012 a lot of workers probably were you know resting fairly soundly this is a … so it’s early. So a lot of them were exposed to the radiation and now so we have another massive dent in the workforce, I mean we are running out of what we call human robots, we are running out of people with suicidal tendencies who are willing to work at the plant.

Jeff Rense: Or Yakusa volunteers..

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah the entire plant is at stake because if you don’t have enough manpower to you know watch over the pump that are going into the reactor cores, eventually you are going to have breakdowns, maintenance problems, refueling problems, switching problems so this is really a critical situation. And it’s so critical that the Japanese government, TEPCO and the media are not reporting on something this massive. 

Jeff Rense: Two more earthquakes, actually 3, two more today (9 Jan 2012) a M3.5 and a M2.7 residents are reporting that these quakes for some reason feel like they are directly underground like they are bombs going off and odd, they say they are different, they are not offshore 20-30 miles. They are actually occurring in the worse possible location apparently right under the Fukushima plant.

Yoichi Shimatsu: Well what’s happening is there is energy being released along the entire, all 4 fault lines, basically the whole Island is sort of rotating and moving upward to the north and so basically this is, you know and as more energy released like smaller quakes that builds up at a certain point and you get a massive release like we just did with the M7.0. And the meteorological agency’s is expecting a series of M9.0 earthquakes in the immediate, in the near future.. So we are looking at, we are looking at some massive quake action, and already there is a lot of Volcano sort of half eruption or the initial stages of eruption now so we can expect much, much more activity like this which is only going to knock out the energy supply, cut of roads and so on. So we are in for a really devastating year and this again like I said, it’s 2:30 in the morning on January 1, so you know I don’t know how you take it happy 2012.

Jeff Rense: Well I have been using that very same caveat with my wishes to people, Happy New Year, I’m sorry there is not much Happy out there, that’s the truth.

Yoichi Shimatsu: That’s right.. So anyways, so second cover-up, we are not even a year out of this thing and we got another major cover-up underway ok..

Jeff Rense: One more M7.5 and the Spent Fuel Pool at building 4 will likely come down. And most of the building will come down with it. 

Yoichi Shimatsu: Well it is tilting as you said, and the racks are all in disarray

MP3 Fukushima Update - Yoichi Shimatsu and Jeff Rense

Well it's Yoichi Shimatsu again with Jeff Rense on his show, this is from 26 December 2011 and with 2012 approaching they talk a bit about the year that have passed. How could 2012 be any worse than this last year? It's hard to think of anything that could top the greatest nuclear disaster in the history of this planet. Only time will tell.

Cesium is now found 15 miles from the Fukushima plant in the groundwater, Yoichi talks about how in Japan they clear cut forests and mountain sides allowing the radiation to have easy access to the water table. SPEEDI (System for Prediction of Environmental Emergency Dose Information) the program that the Japanese government have that show exactly where radioactive fallout where spread in Japan after the disaster. They had this program all this time, the knew where the radioactive material was going, have gone and they suppress vital information from the public.

The nuclear industry have an iron grip on the media both in Japan and the world. Top editors all over the world have been demoted because they report the truth behind Fukushima, that it was not safe or still is, nuclear meltdowns was a fact early on and that it's not under control at all. Jeff Rense: OK hour 3, lets go over to Asia and talk to our colleague and friend Yoichi Shimatsu. Are you there Yoichi?

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah sure am, you know Christmas here is not really celebrated, most these countries are Buddhist countries there is not a lot of that but we’re are sitting here and waiting for the new year the solar new year. The much dreaded, prophesied and anticipated 2012.

Jeff Rense: Right..

Yoichi Shimatsu: What I cant figure out is how 2012 could be any worse than 2011.

Jeff Rense: *Laughing* agreed.

Yoichi Shimatsu: I’m afraid the prophecy might have been a year late..

Jeff Rense: Well I’m afraid that it could be worse, I’m afraid that they have a hell of a show planed for all the sheep next year. We have seen enough idiocy this last year to last us a lifetime. The latest well water 15 miles from Fukushima Daiichi, Caesium in the water that’s the groundwater folks, that’s the water table. 

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah that’s what we expected it’s coming in very fast because proper cause where not taken. You know one of the problems is when they do cut forest in Japan just like in the United States they do clear filling of forest which means..

Jeff Rense: They clear cut over there too? Complete madness, complete stupidity..

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah not as large areas but lets say a single mountain side for example will be clear cut and then that allows, well you need the organic mater to stop the radioactive you know fallout in the rain … If you don’t have threes, and the most effectively the forest three but mosses also, mosses and ferns gather enormous, mushrooms gather enormous amount of radiation. So when you cut the threes and delude the land like that all of that you know biota die and what you are left with is water going directly into the rocks into the soil and it break down into the underground water supply and the underground streams and this is why it is showing up in the wells now. And it surprised me frankly I would have thought it would be taking us a couple of years, a couple of seasons.

Jeff Rense: 10 months yeah. Well this is 15 miles and then there is Caesium in it, I just got the story and now there is a lot to talk about here. We have first of all TEPCO announcing today that they are actually going to drill into the containment vessel in reactor 2 to find out what the hell is going on in there. They don’t know, but they are don’t worry the plant is in cold shutdown, don’t worry everything is stable.

Yoichi Shimatsu: Obviously they got to take a video scope, they can not, you know as much as they can wheel these optical fibres through, I guess they just can’t get to the base so they are going to start dig down there and take a sample a reading of what is actually happening. So I think probably what they are looking for is the hole to the outside you know where the cracks are or burn holes not cracks. Where the fuel has burnt trough to the concrete and try to follow that through. That’s why they are going down to the bottom. There is nothing else really to look for they know there is broken fuel rods down there, so obviously they are looking for the fissure the cracks and you know torch out hole there of the melted metal and try to follow that and trace it down and run that R.. scope all the way down into the ground as far as they can see. This is obviously what they are after here, they should have done this a long time ago that’s… So one of their late ineffective measures you know this is after what the expression they use to say in the wild west, “closing the corral gate” after all the horses have run out. Well the horses are out, they are in the well water. 

Jeff Rense: Well what they did with many of the horses living in Fukushima prefecture is that they let them out of the corral and told them to go to the wrong pasture. They sent them in to the much worse radioactivity, this is nuts.

Yoichi Shimatsu: Well that too, that’s the problem, see this new report by this blue ribbon panel has come out that are very critical to the governments response. The government had this program called SPEEDI (System for Prediction of Environmental Emergency Dose Information) which takes all the wind direction, all the meteorological readings at different altitudes. And then it calculates if there is a nuclear release, it will calculate the fallout. It’s not precise but it will get down to lets say a 3 m2 area which is very small, exactly like size of some peoples pool tables essentially, two billiard tables put together. And they will calculate where exactly the radiation is going and they knew exactly. The ridiculous circles that they made these 20 km and 30 km circles where just not how radiation is spread. It spreads along the directional path of where wind and water will take it. And they moved a lot of people to the north west which was closer to Fukushima city but right in the sort of path of the radiation going up the mountain. And this is something, the government had the data. And the real shocking story is a good colleague of mine an Japanese editor, a senior editor, in fact a top editor of one of the Tokyo news papers. He did the first interviews, in the first month after the March 11 disaster through the former head of the nuclear safety commission who revealed the existence of this SPEEDI program. After this was published, immediately a powerful team from some unnamed ministry, you know the information ministry was probably involved. Visited him, had a long meeting, then he ended up, when I talked to him he was just shaky. He was like someone who just had been through these Soviet psychiatric programs, he was shaky and was trembling … he was in the hospital for a few days, came out to find out that he has been demoted .. He was a top editor and then he was demoted. And so we saw that as a very concrete incident. And I have heard stories of editors of other papers, producers at the national TV station NHK being demoted, basically punished for trying to report accurately of what happened in Fukushima. NHK world service was shut down for a minute when they reported the accident at Ona the earthquake damage at Onagawa station to the north, and so there was a massive plant down on the press. Which despite the fact that many of the American presses interested in Fukushima sent teams over there, were stonewalled and blocked all the way. A lot of the reporters did try and ask hard questions, did start to raise the alarm. And then suddenly in the United States this long hand from the nuclear industry came out and quelched all reporting. And everyone knows that there in no reporting at all on what’s happening and the impact of radiation in the United States. This has been a year of a media clamp down, this is not one country, we are talking about the United States and Canada the self-proclaimed champions of free press, truth in reporting, objective reporting gagged. Totally gagged, and if they are gagged imagine what things are like in other countries…

Jeff Rense again with Yoichi Shimatsu. Yoichi is on the line from Malaysia this time where they use oil but also bio fuel extensively. This Dec 11, 2011 MP3, they talk a bit about KYOTO and how the Nuclear Fiasco have left countries along with Japan really no where to go.

The nuclear industry was a big supporter of the global carbon tax basically punishing all other forms of energy but now it’s all going sour when TEPCO can’t afford to lobby. The reactor building 4 at Fukushima is almost collapsing and with the nuclear fuel pool on top of the roof on the verge of falling to the ground. If something like that happens it would render most of Japan inhabitable.

You think that’s bad well 100.000 tons of radioactive debris of about 4 million tons more have just reached Tokyo and THEY ARE GOING TO BURN IT!

Nuclear energy gets of scot-free while ordinary people are frowned upon for burning a bit of oil. Where are all the CO2 protesters on this? Sure a fully loaded 747 airplane consumes around 200.000 liters of fuel ever 8 hours or so. Most planes are in the air 24/7 so that ads up to somewhere around 1 million liters of fuel every day for 1 single airliner. Hmm last I checked motorists that burn a few liters a day and that could not even make a dent in that fuel consumption jet aircraft stand for really are bashed hard for.. Well getting to work?

So lets look at that.

Burning millions of tons radioactive debris: OK
747 consuming 1 million liters of fuel every day: OK
Me / you using your car around 5 liters per day: Worst earth destroying scum ever.

It’s been stated that all of mankind contribute to approximately 3.4 percent of the annual CO2 levels with 96.6 percent that comes from nature. (You know volcanoes, wildfires, decomposing trees, grass and so on.)

Yeah talk about double standard. If the nuclear industry is supporting the carbon tax and our carbon tax pays the nuclear industry in form of government support then in a way you are supporting nuclear energy and it’s continuing destruction of our planet. At least it’s not forever, our radiation should be gone by the end of our existence here along with our horrible 3.4 percent CO2 impact.

Anyone thinking about coming on here and draw me parallels between Radiation and CO2? How about CO2 and Water? Hang on I know, CO2 and Alcohol? CO2 and Cyanide? CO2 and Fat? Would an 3.4 percent increase in fat be a disaster for my body? Would my body core temperature change if I reduce or increase my fat level with 3.4 percent? Would my car engine stop overheating if I put 3.4 percent more water in the cooling system? Would my car overheat if I reduce the water in my cooler with 3.4 percent? If I add 3.4 percent to my air fuel mixture would my engine blow up? NO, NO again NO.

I mean they have already stated and this is from people with Ph.Ds that radiation is good for you and if you smile it wont hurt you. So you pull up your pants and bring it on if you like!

The purifying systems that are in use at the Fukushima plant is no longer able to purify the contaminated radioactive water sending tons and tons of highly radioactive water into the ocean. Tests are showing radiation levels 50 million times over the limit in the ocean. What does this do to the ocean and fish?

Jeff Rense: OK welcome back and all you need do is to look at that top story that second featured story box Japan Nuclear Disaster and read the headlines and they are all there. Read the stories too by all means. It’s updated, it’s current, it’s frightening it’s just really awful. Cesium in the pacific ocean 50 million times over the limit shortly after the disaster and they keep talking about the ocean not being polluted. It was recently admitted that the so called water purification equipment that was installed at Fukushima Daiichi doesn’t work, didn’t work and the actual water now is just being ducted into the ocean.

So when you get word from people in the plant of things like this and you also get word from people working in the plant the destroyed plant that there is no hope there is nothing left to do. These are the quotes we’re forgetting, there is no hope there is no plan there is nothing left to do. Then when you look at the pictures today, of the south wall on reactor building 4 having disappeared in the last week, and the spent fuel pool just hanging out there. And if that dives to the ground it’s goodbye, Tokyo and Yokahama and all points in between and maybe much worse than that. So this is a catastrophe, absolutely unequivocally. With us now from south east Asia is our colleague and man who has brought us such incredible insight to all of this for so many months here Yoichi Shimatsu, are you there Yoichi?

Yoichi Shimatsu: Yeah I’m in Malaysia a country that runs on oil and increasingly on bio fuel, on palm oil, that they are using now. But whole country is covered with these darn palm oil orchids, terrible you know it’s a tropical desert.

Jeff Rense: Laughing.

Yoichi Shimatsu: You know, so sort of what not to do you know in the field of energy. That you know everyone’s going about the energy business in their own little way, and there is no real plan about some sort of energy transition. It’s actually quit noisy here this is a land of a lot of cars, traffic, this is an oil dependent country much like California. So you know this is, and we just had this meeting in Durban, South Africa. We sort of ended with this promise to start a new treaty after the old one is failed, and again … don’t do this don’t do that, but what do we do. To replace things like coal which is not to healthy for you, you smell the fumes from these cars not that healthy. Certainly nuclear was a panacea, and what happened is Japan basically dropped out of the KYOTO treaty. Now that TEPCO the Nuclear Power Company is not supporting it, does not have the money to support the UN climate talks anymore and the whole lobbying effort that went into it, Japan simply whimpered out after making all the big noise for the last, since 1997.

Jeff Rense: Wow.

Yoichi Shimatsu: So Nuclear Industry was a major supporter of this whole idea of a carbon tax an all that, basically punish all other forms of energy so that Nuclear could thrive, but now that Nuclear is blowing up people don’t know what to do. So we are stuck here in the middle of traffic here with a lot of fume coming out of everywhere. So again there is no real plan for a global energy transition to better forms of energy. Less use of energy, amazing how 1000s of civilizations, some of them more intelligent and more culture than ours grew up on 100th or 1000th of the energy that we consume. So you know the world is not … And I’m a part of that right now in Malaysia.

Jeff Rense: Yeah well that’s for sure, now let me ask you a question. I got a story here that the first 100.000 tons out of a projected 4 million tons or more of radioactive debris has now reached Tokyo by truck. Tokyo if you folks don’t know, is going to burn all of this debris, and you say WHAT? That’s right they are going to burn it and the radioactivity is going to go right up the chimneys and right down on Tokyo and up into the air and all around Honshu and then it’s going to go further than that too. And nobody in the world is saying anything about it.

Yoichi Shimatsu: Well again, we just had this conference that focus on carbon dioxide emissions and I would say those millions of tons are going up into smoke in Japan are creating a lot of carbon dioxide which isn’t appearing on anyone’s list and non of the anti-carbon dioxide people are making any qualms about it. So we have a double standard here, Nuclear Energy gets of scot-free, they can go around destroying entire economies, wiping out entire communities, destroying the life’s of children’s for generations to come. No one speaks of this, there is nothing. We hear nothing from these people, even though carbon dioxide is obviously going to be emitted from these incinerators. Not to mention the radioactivity which is going to cross over the Pacific and all parts o North America and Europe. So that’s only the beginning and you know that twain was that earlier that this stuff wasn’t really too radioactive. Towns along Miyagi coast were not really that hard hit by radiation. If you go back and look at all the claims and articles these are supposed to be relatively low level contamination sites. But they seem to be in a huge hurry to move it into Tokyo and burn off the smoking gun supposedly, this evidence. In fact the place is massively radioactive and this stuff is you know is very destructive and they want to move it out now before lets say next summers rain will leach out of that, a lot of radiation into the soil and water up there. So they are moving this stuff out, it’s a way of also suppressing evidence, you know. What we are seeing here is that all of the things the Japanese government has done is given bailout to TEPCO to the offenders and let the president, executives retire with million dollar pay packages, you know golden parachutes. And no hint of criminal charges, the police aren’t collecting any evidence at all from this if, you know to determine whether or not there was any kind of criminal complicity between the Energy Industry, politicians and so on, and non of that’s happening. So basically you can also see this legally in terms of just this massive cover-up. Massive destruction of evidence the smoking guns that are out there that destroyed whole towns and make them unlivable. The tsunami destroyed the towns but the radiation that made them unlivable, and we can not re-hebetate these places. So this I think is the larger crime than the tsunami, the tsunami comes and smash a certain area. But the radiation coves massive, huge areas, entire provinces so..
